What is included in Muse Monthly?

Every month, you will recieve one new novel and a full size tea! Your book and tea are meant to be enjoyed together for the ulimate experience of escapism. Plus, sometimes we throw in extra goodies just because we like ya. Click here to learn more about us!


A note: Muse Monthly focuses on adult literary fiction - some novel choices may contain adult content. We try to warn you ahead of time if there may be anything triggering.

What kind of books and tea does Muse Monthly include?

We are working with several publishers, both big names (Penguin, Macmillan) and independent (Tin House, Two Dollar Radio) to provide you with some great novels. Our focus is on literary fiction, with a preference towards new publications and new writers. This way, you won't have to fear getting something you've already read. Nor will you have to fear missing out on that great new publication that everyone on your newsfeed is talking about!

To go along with your book, we're excited to provide high-quality and unique teas from great companies. Our affiliated brands include local tea companies who we're excited to support, and brands who provide unique blends that you won't be able to get anywhere else. We assure you, this is not your average earl grey! You'll get something new and exciting in every box.

What if I already have this month's book/am not interested in this month's content?

Good news! You can totally log in to your account and skip a month. We always announce our monthly content ahead of time via email and social media, so you'll know what's coming.

I have a food allergy, and I'm concerned about specific contents in the teas. What should I do?

Send us an email at team@musemonthly.com and let us know! We'll do our best to watch out for you.

I absolutely loved last month's tea/book! Where can I find more?

We always stock a few extras in our store! Check out our shop for past contents as well as our custom mugs, totes, t-shirts, and more!

I absolutely hated last month's tea/book! What do I do with it?

We ask that unwanted books be donated to your local library or school. Spread the joy of reading! If there was a problem with your tea, unopened boxes can be donated to food banks or shelters!

Does my subscription automatically renew? How often will my subscription be re-billed?

Yes, all subscriptions automatically renew so we can keep the books and tea flowing! Re-billing occurs on the 20th of every month. If you have selected a prepaid plan, you will not be re-billed until the end of that term.

What if I don't want my subscription to renew?

If you don't want your subscription to renew, feel free to log in and cancel before the 20th of the month. If your cancellation is after the renewal date, your subscription will end after your next billing period has ended. If you need a refund, please email us at team@musemonthly.com. Refunds will not be given if a box has already shipped.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Simply log in to your account, click "edit", and hit the cancel button. This will cancel your subscription at the end of your current billing period.

When will my box ship? Where do you ship to?

We ship out on the first week of the month! The best thing to do is follow us on social media for constant updates. We ship internationally!

How do I gift a single box?

Simply click the "shop" button to gift a single box. These gift boxes will not be renewed.

We're so happy to chat with you! Before contacting us, please note that we are only interested in adult fiction that comes in physical copies (no e-books). Please have your agent/publishing house contact us at team@musemonthly.com!
